The place had a quiet atmosphere. The location was quiet and absolutely perfect for me. I came across La Tonnelle, it was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel, offered nice shots...

stayed for 3 nights in this nicely appointed and absolutely amazing place, liked that. central heating, tea and coffee making equipment, and a dining area in our double room were useful during stay. the bathroom had a walk-in shower, which was great. had perfect location close to city center, a short walk to eglise de la visitation.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional service and warm hospitality of the owners. The room was incredibly spacious, with a super comfortable bed, and the walk-in shower in the bathroom was mind-blowing. The fact that the place is bike-friendly and provides secure storage for bikes was a major plus. The breakfasts were copious and delicious, with homemade yogurts and jams. we had a jaw-dropping experience at this beautifully appointed house with attentive hosts. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a continental breakfast while feeling like an airport runway was just a stone's throw away. Lovely garden and terrace made for a scenic backdrop. Explored nearby Chateau des Reaux and Chateau de Montsoreau.

The constant noise of planes taking off and landing was simply delightful.

Hélène and Joel, the owners, were extremely helpful and great to talk to. the room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed. the breakfasts were copious and freshly prepared, with delicious homemade yogurt and jams. I also appreciated the secure storage for my bikes, as Aux Marquises is a bike-friendly place. the entire house had a beautiful design and the hosts' dedication and love for their projects were evident in every corner. It truly was a memorable experience. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 🌟.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The mansion was beautifully decorated and had a fine view of the river. The pretty garden was a peaceful oasis. The breakfast was really good, with delicious homemade treats. The staff were cute, kind, and attentive.
